Hidden Water

Should we really be drinking 8 glasses of water a day?

We really should be getting the equivalent of 8 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated. BUT – that doesn’t mean we have to drink it all. The water in fruit and vegetables counts. Other beverages that we drink count too, INCLUDING coffee, tea and soda – even if they’re caffeinated.

If you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated. The trick is take in some amount of water on a regular basis. Flooding ourselves with a lot of water all at once can actually be really hard on the kidneys.
