There are a few everyday things we should all be doing slower...
Slow down! A lot of us rush to get things done – and it turns out that could be making it harder. Here a few things to do slower:
• Driving. Not only will you save gas and reduce the odds of an accident, you’ll actually feel more relaxed when you get there.
• Talking. When we slow our speech we come across as more intelligent and thoughtful.
• Eating. By slowing down, we eat less, have less indigestion – and even absorb more nutrients.
• Working. Rushing or multitasking bottlenecks the brain and can result in more errors and time wasted in the long run.
• Chores. Washing the dishes or folding the laundry can actually be therapeutic if we slow down and focus on the task at hand. We’ll also do a much better job.
