Say Ohm

More and more doctors are prescribing the same thing...

Open wide and say “Ohm.” More doctors are prescribing meditation instead of medication. It’s not just for the spiritual types anymore, run-of-the-mill patients, corporate executives and even the military are following doctor’s orders to meditate. Researchers say meditation can physically change our brains, our bodies - and a lot of the symptoms that go along with certain ailments.

You won’t need incense and candles to do it right. A meditation prescription usually consists mostly of deep breathing and concentration. 30 minutes a day can actually lower stress and blood pressure and boost the immune system, pain threshold and attention span.
