It seems there is a new “smart” something developed every week...
...and Google is at it again with smart contact lenses. Don’t get too excited. They won’t give you x-ray vision or play movies. They’re being developed for diabetics.
The smart lenses are still in the testing phase. Once perfected, they could be a great option for the one in 12 Americans who suffer from diabetes. The smart lenses have built in sensors that can measure blood sugar levels. No needles or swabbing required.
