Now hair this!

Did you wash your hair today? If so, give it a rest for a few days.

Hair experts and dermatologists agree, most of us are washing our hair way too much, especially at this time of year. The winter months are particularly harsh on your hair and it could use a bit of a rest. Katia says over-washing your hair just makes it dryer, flatter and can even result in more oil production.

So how often should you wash? Two or three times a week. On non-wash days, go ahead and use a dry shampoo or even a little talcum powder on the oily spots. The longer, thicker, curlier, and more processed your hair, the longer it can go between washes.
