Real men don’t eat sugar. How it affects them...

If you’re a guy with a sweet tooth, listen up:

A new study has found that sugar can actually decrease your levels of testosterone. They tested 74 men and found their T levels took a dive after eating or drinking their sweet samples. This was an important finding for men, as testosterone levels have a big impact on libido, energy, bone density, muscle mass and red blood cell production.

Experts recommend that men reduce their use of sugar, including breads and pastas, before considering testosterone treatment, as their levels could improve significantly on their own with a whole foods diet. The fasting required for most blood tests can also be inaccurate if you normally eat a lot of sugar.
