Is your Tweet ready for prime time?

If you’re on Twitter, don't start your Tweet with a username.

According to Jay Acunzo, senior content manager at HubSpot, the most common mistake users make is starting a Tweet with a username. That’s because leading with a username features that Tweet to just the sender and anyone mentioned in it.

There’s an easy fix for this. Start your Tweet with the message or add a period before the username lead, and your Tweet will appear in all of your follower’s news feeds.
