Have you had enough boron today?



If you could use a little zip in your doo dah – you might have low boron levels... 

We don't hear much about it but boron is a vital trace mineral that humans and animals need for peak performance. A boron deficiency can throw off metabolism, sex hormone levels and can even contribute to brain malfunction and arthritis. If we don’t get enough boron, we can be left feeling lackluster, easily distracted and fatigued.

We don’t need a lot of boron – and it’s easy to get naturally through lots of food. A daily dose of boron-rich almonds or hazelnuts can replenish us in just two weeks. Fruits like apples, oranges, pears and plums all have boron, as do most beans and even beer.
