Research from Wichita State University revealed which fonts we find most appealing. Georgia and Times New Roman were rated the most attractive, while Arial, Courier and Veranda were the easiest and most legible. Class clown, Comic Sans struck out – it came in last.
Size matters too – depending on the font. Bigger was better for Times New Roman. People liked Veranda in a size 10 – and Arial in a 12. Once again, Comic Sans was no fun to look when measured at a measly 8 points.
