Would you consider shaving with peanut butter?
It’s a great alternative to shaving cream or gel in a pinch – and the oils will leave your skin baby soft. Here are a few more things that peanut butter can come in really handy for:
• Butter substitute: If you’re out of butter – peanut butter will work, as long as the recipe will tolerate the peanutty taste.
• Removing sticky labels: Just smear it on and rub it off.
• Catching mice: Mice LOVE peanut butter. It’s the bait they prefer.
• Leather cleaner: Buff scratched or grimy spots with a bit of peanut butter to get back the leathery luster.
• Water marks: Coat water stains or rings on wooden surfaces with a layer of peanut butter. Let it sit for about an hour before wiping away. The oil in the peanut butter will penetrate the wood and help restore some or all of the finish.
• Gum remover: Peanut butter is still the most effective way to get chewing gum out of hair. It works at removing gum from carpeting and other fibrous surfaces too.
