If you’re changing the batteries in your smoke detectors this week – you might want to change the whole thing...
If any of your detectors are over 10 years old, it’s time to replace them with a new one. After a decade, detectors are not as reliable at detecting smoke and fire.
While you’re at it, make sure you have enough detectors in the right places. You really should have them in and outside of every bedroom – and at least one detector on each level of your house.
