Gas Savers

If you'd like to save some money on gas, we've got some expert advice on the topic...

We found some ways to save on gas that can add up to over $1,000 a year!

Replace your air filter about once a year. More if you drive a lot or on dirt roads.

Check your tire pressure every three months. It saves in fuel, and extends the life of your tires.

Use cruise control on open roads. It really does save gas. Don't use it on hills or curvy roads though.

Stick to the speed limit, especially if you drive a van or SUV. They're just not as aerodynamic.

Go easy on the AC on side roads, but use it instead of windows at high speeds to reduce drag.

Lighten up by taking stuff out of the trunk and removing racks you don't use.
