Good news if you like chocolate milk - it’s a great post-workout drink...
Drinking low-fat chocolate milk after vigorous exercise has been found to improve endurance, build muscle and reduce fat. Kinesiology expert, Dr. John Ivy, says that the combination of carbohydrates and protein in chocolate milk work together to replenish sugar and stop the breakdown of protein.
