Sounds easy enough but if you could use a little help with that plan, have some pears. Pears help to stave off hunger, according to recent study from Penn State. Eating a pear each morning calms the region of the brain that fuels hunger pangs. The effect can last all the way until lunch.
For your next meal consider a bowl of chicken and rice soup. The study also found that those who did that consumed fewer 100 calories and felt more satisfied than those who opted for a chicken and rice casserole.
