A recent study found that nocturnal eaters are at an increased risk of tooth loss. Even if your teeth don’t fall out, late-night snackers tend to sustain more damage to their teeth in the form of cavities and staining.
Any snacks after dinner time can pose the dental risk – and it doesn’t matter what that snack consists of. The study found healthy foods like fruit will do just as much damage as that bedtime bowl of cereal or ice cream.
