According to data compiled by Facebook and David McCandless, the days following Valentine’s Day is peak season for breaking up. In most cases, the relationship is already on the rocks and sticking it out through Valentine’s Day may seem the humane thing to do.

If you make it through the weekend, beware on Monday. That’s the most common dumping day of the week. If your relationship survives the winter, Spring Break is another potential hazard, especially for the college crowd. Seems some people would prefer to be single for that adventure.
