We’re supposed to start our day with a healthy breakfast – but some days could require a frosted doughnut! It’s the day that you have an important morning meeting, test or interview. According to Gary L. Wenk, author of “Your Brain on Food,” that heavy dose of sugar helps your brain cells communicate with each other, boosting focus and energy. Make it a chocolate doughnut – and you’ll increase production of the chemical that sharpens memory and concentration.
