The next time you grill some meat – grab some beer first.

Grilling some steaks? Soak them in beer first. 

A recent study found that marinating meats in beer lowers the carcinogen content when cooked at high temperatures. Your meat wants the good stuff. Skip the Bud Light and pour on a pilsner, dark ale or black beer. Let the meat drink that up for about four hours before grilling it. You can even add some of your favorite spices or sauces to the beer for a tasty malt marinade.
