Are you on a diet? How you could be losing more than just weight...


If you’re dieting, and losing weight, you may be losing some smarts along with it. 

Several studies have found that low-carb diets can rob us of some brain function – and new research has found that diets are dumbing us down in different ways. If your diet involves a lot of counting, and most do, that can take a real toll on your overall intelligence, temporarily. 

Whether you’re constantly counting carbs, calories, points or grams, it can literally clog up your brain and be detrimental to your mental capacity. All that counting can also interfere with logical reasoning, problem solving and processing new information.
