The new leading cause of relationship trouble is – Facebook! A recent survey by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers found that four out of five lawyers reported an increasing number of divorce cases citing evidence derived from social networking sites in the past five years, with Facebook being the market leader. Most lawyers now demand to see the clients’ Facebook pages before proceedings begin.
The good news is – divorce rates aren’t necessarily on the rise. It seems the marriages Facebook gets credit for breaking up were probably on shaky ground to begin with.
