Lucid dreaming, mastering the ability to control your dreams, is going viral, thanks to technology and a new generation in on the craze.
Psychologist Richard Wiseman, creator of the Dream:ON lucid dreaming app, says his mass participation project is enjoying huge success. The app is a tool designed to assist you in mastering lucid dreaming. Once you do, the app lets you share your dreams Twitter and Facebook. You can even tag the friends who appeared in your lucid dream.
Lucid dreaming has been around for a long time. Tibetan Buddhists in the 8th century practiced “dream yoga,” a form of lucid dreamers. Some famous lucid dream enthusiasts from the past and present include Stephen King, Salvador Dali and Paul McCartney.
