How is your relationship body language? 

Some of the top body language experts have these tips to help you feel closer:

• Watch the lips. If your partner is pursing or puckering while you’re talking, they have something to say. Go ahead and ask what’s on their mind. 

• Use your feet. While your partner is talking, pointing your feet toward them conveys that you’re really listening and that you care.

• If you’re arguing, take a time out to touch your partner. A gentle, loving touch can really help to defuse a tense situation.

There are some bad body moves too. Lacing the fingers behind the neck or putting your feet up can convey the wrong message. Avoid sitting above or below the other person. Making a conscious effort to mirror your partner’s body language can make you both feel closer.
