Wednesday is National Left-Handers Day.
Wednesday, August 13th, marks the annual event where left-handers are awarded the right of way. The Left-Handers Club started the day in 1992 to raise awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed. Righties can celebrate too. Here are some suggested activities to try, left handed:
• Brush your teeth
• Iron your clothes
• Write your name
• Use a scissors
• Switch your computer mouse
• Play an instrument
Members of the Left-Handers Club have events set up worldwide, including Right vs. Left sporting matches, left-handed tea parties and Lefty Pub Night which requires drinking, playing darts and pool – all with your left hand.
