The next time you serve fried chicken to your family, you might want to take it off the bone first.
Researchers say kids who eat chicken right off the bone are more likely to disobey adults. The Cornell University study about biting and chewing habits in children also found that kids were more likely to be aggressive towards others when they ate food they had to hold and bite.
Children who were served food which had been cut into small pieces were the more docile in the study and exhibited better behaviors and manners overall. The research suggests that eating food with our hands and tearing it with our teeth stimulates our inner beast.
