If you’re worried about memory loss – eat less cheese.
A recent study found that women over the age of 65 who ate a lot of saturated fat, like that found in meat, cheese and processed food, had the worst memory. Experts believe that consumption of saturated fats contributes to a decline in cognitive function and memory loss.
If you’re not a woman over 65, you’re not off the fat hook. Other studies have found that teens with a high-fat diet also risk impaired memory and learning skills.
