People who suffer from migraines should learn to like sardines...



Most of us have some very effective medicine right in the fridge or pantry...

Melina Jampolis, author of “The Calendar Diet,” has a list of medicinal foods that can really help to relieve some common, everyday ailments:


* Got migraines? Get some sardines. The omega-3 in there can help stave them off.



* Feeling irritable? Find some dark chocolate. It’s got an amino acid that helps regulate mood.



* High blood pressure? Have a bowl of shredded wheat. Whole wheat cereal helps your heart.



* Get seasonal allergies? Eat pineapple and apples together. The combo helps combat allergies.



* Achy joints? Berries to the rescue. Eating them on a regular basis decreases overall inflammation.
