College kids aren’t the only group binge drinking out there. The other group at high risk...

Most of us associate binge drinking with college kids or the party crowd...
...but there’s another group at risk of downing way too much alcohol. You probably won’t see them in the clubs and bars because they’re senior citizens and they’re more likely to be drinking at home. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting new risks for the 65+ age group and many of them aren't aware there's a problem.

Binge drinking is described as having more than four servings of alcohol on one occasion. Those servings are smaller than most people think and one glass of wine is often actually two servings. The new warning also pointed out that alcohol consumption in seniors is increasing their risk for cognitive decline and dementia.
