Is it risky to take sleeping pills once in a while? Yes!

We all know how important adequate sleep is to our overall health...

But if you rely on sleeping pills, even just occasionally – there are some risks you NEED to consider. New research is suggesting that prescription sleep aids could actually increase your risk of death. The study found that those who took 18 sleeping pills or fewer per year were 3.5 times more likely to die. Those who took more than 132 pills per year were FIVE times more likely to not wake up.

Cancer and heart disease were among the most common life-threatening conditions experienced by people taking prescription sleep aids. The increased risk applies to all age groups – but 18 to 55 year-olds are most vulnerable.
