If you’re going to an interview – shoes matter! Which pair to wear...


You put a lot of effort into dressing appropriately for that interview – don’t blow it with the shoes! 

A recent survey found 70% of all employers look at an applicant’s footwear at some point during the interview. Here’s what they’re hoping to see:

• Women: Opt for a closed-toe shoe with a small heel. Leave the frumpy flats, platforms, overly high heels or sandals and shoes that are too strappy at home.

• Men: Your shoes should match the rest of your outfit. Skip the sneakers with the suit or dress shoes with a golf shirt. It’s also a good idea to have appropriate shoes in good condition from THIS decade. Outdated or dusty shoes will make you look out of touch.
