There's something you should eat before your next job interview...

It’s important to prepare yourself for a job interview...

That goes for your body as well as your brain. What you eat and drink could affect your performance. Here are some good pre-interview selections:

• Blueberries and dark chocolate are rich in antioxidants and can help you think more clearly.

• Brussels sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower can improve mental clarity.

• Yogurt and nuts are a good choice if you’re nervous – they help reduce anxiety.

• Avocado is good brain food – it improves blood flow and enhances focus.

• Lean protein such as fish, chicken or an egg-white omelet at least an hour before the interview can improve performance too.

Go ahead and have that cup of coffee – IF it’s part of your normal routine. If you’re sensitive to caffeine – you’ll be better off drinking ginseng tea – it’s good for stamina.
