If you'd like music lessons - this should be music to your ears...
It’s pretty much unanimous – kids who take music lessons often have a developmental advantage over kids who don’t. Private lessons are nice – but they’re expensive. There’s a good chance you could get those lessons for half price! A tough economy has taken a toll on independent music teachers and in many cases those schedules aren’t as full as they used to be. That’s why a lot of them will be willing to double up. If you’ve got two kids who would like to learn the same instrument – go ahead and ask.
When siblings or friends learn to play together, it not only saves you money – but it could actually enhance the lesson itself. Some kids pick up skills faster in twos especially if they practice together.
