If it hurts just to hear the phrase kidney stones - have a beer.

If you’d like to reduce the odds you’ll wind up with painful kidney stones - have a beer. 

Researchers set out to find which beverages could increase or decrease the risk of stones and they determined that sugar-sweetened soda, diet soda and fruit punch all increased risk. Beer was at the top of the decrease drink list, followed by white wine, red wine, caffeinated coffee, decaf, orange juice and tea.
