If you’d like to live longer – go shopping!
Good news if you like shopping – it could lengthen your life. The trick is you’ll need to shop every day, well into your old age. Taiwanese researchers studied 2,000 elderly men and women and found that the regular shoppers lived longer than those who shopped once a week or less.
There are some key benefits to the daily shopping routine for longevity, including exercise, interacting with others, and eating fresh food every day. Shopping also improves psychological well-being for those who enjoy it – and it’s a lot easier to maintain than some other activities and forms of exercise.
