Bad Diet Food

That diet soda could actually make you gain weight!

If you’re dieting – skip the diet soda. New research from the American Diabetes Association says people who drank two or more diet sodas a day had waist size increases SIX times greater than those who didn’t drink it. Here are a few more “diet” foods to avoid:

• Smoothies – some of them are loaded with calories, fat and sugar. Stick to whole fruits and vegetables and skim or no milk.

• Artificial Sweeteners – some research suggests they may actually make you hungrier than natural sugar.

• Light salad dressings – they probably have less fat and calories – but are usually high in sugar or high fructose corn syrup
