If you tend to worry a lot – you could put that to good use...
Some people are just prone to worrying. According to the National Institutes of Mental Health – that worrying is chock full of energy that we can put to good use. The trick is to start by scheduling worry sessions – pick out any 15 minute block of time that works in your day. The next step is to REFUSE to worry at any other time. Don’t worry – that’s not as hard as it sounds. Each time a worry comes to mind – jot it down and put it aside for your session. When your worry session begins – take that list and start problem solving. You’ll start to identify which worries are worth your time – and which are beyond your control – and start using that worry energy more effectively.
