Most of us would like to make more money - but how much does it take to really be happy?
An analysis by the Wall Street Journal considered a survey of 450,000 Americans, evaluated what would make them happy and how much that would cost.
That magic number was $75,000, annually. That’s how much it takes to meet the average person’s basic needs with a reasonable amount of leisure and indulgence. The analysis determined that happiness and comfort levels start to level off with incomes over 75k.
