Buying “Made in the USA” products is on the rise...
Not only do most Americans, 78%, say they’d buy stuff made here in a heartbeat if given the choice, Chinese labor prices are on the rise making room for some home-spun competition.
It’s not always easy to buy authentic American-made products, as there is no common, national definition for “Made in the USA.” Some of the raw materials that go into a product often come from somewhere else. If you’re really determined to buy American, read the label carefully and check companies or products online to find out just how home-grown they are. Full-blooded American companies are usually very proud of their products and will prominently display the details.
