The next time you’ve got a nagging cough or tickle in your throat – try some chocolate. Researchers have found that a chemical in chocolate is better at suppressing a cough than a lot of cough medicines. Chocolate has got Theo-bromine – which they say is more effective than even codeine. Dark chocolate is best – and the recommended dosage is 2 ounces for an adult – about one ounce for a kid.
