If you made a New Year’s resolution - and you made it past last Friday, you’re winning.
January 17th is the day most people give up. If you’re weakening or feeling discouraged, now is the time to ask for support from friends, family or colleagues. Remind them you’re still working on it and it’s make or break time. Once you get past this next week you can consider yourself a resolution finalist.
If you quit smoking, you’re really close. Most quitters experience mood swings and cravings for about three weeks. Hang in there and think of all the money you’re saving. If you’re trying to lose weight, don’t be discouraged if it’s slow to come off. Instead of getting hung up on numbers, focus on how you feel and other aspects of your body like clearer skin and less puffiness.
