If there is a teenage boy nearby - chances are, you can smell him.
The use of aerosol scents is at an all time high for adolescent boys - and there are some serious risks to smelling so good. Lynx and Axe are the market leaders but you can find the spray-on scents in just about any store that caters to teens. Studies have found the teenage boys tend to overdo it and likely spray way too much of the stuff, which is dangerous when inhaled, in enclosed areas such as a bathroom.
Experts warn that inhaling these deodorants and body sprays can result in allergic skin reactions, asthma, breathing difficulties and worse. There are warnings on the cans but most teenagers don’t bother to read those. Roll-on scents are a better choice - but for those who insist on aerosols, remind them to use short bursts near an open window.
