Wouldn't it be great if every week was a four day work week?
No! According to the Journal of Happiness studies, shorter work weeks don’t necessarily make people happier. The South Korean study polled before and after a reduction in work hours. The results found no difference in life satisfaction with more work and less play.
As for American workers, many say they would prefer a four day work week, even if that required longer work days. However, studies have found that ten hour work days can result in chronic fatigue and stress which ultimately take the fun out of the three day weekend.
