Garlic isn’t the only ingredient that makes us stink.
There are several vegetables that contain sulfur that could leave you with a hint of rotten egg odor. They include Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, bok choy, cabbage, cauliflower and kale. Onions, garlic, shallots, leeks and scallions can have the same effect on some people. Of course you need to eat your veggies - but you might want to consider skipping those the day before a big event like a wedding or job interview. Red meat and alcohol can linger as well. That breath mint won’t address their aroma seeping from your pores the next day.
