Any eggs will do, as long as they’ve got the yolk. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reports that egg yolks can be very effective at treating stress by suppressing our production of cortisol. Eggs have vitamin B12 and folic acid and choline – all of which stimulate the brain’s feel-good neurotransmitters.
Recent studies have even found that working some eggs into their diet can provide some relief for people suffering from SAD, or Seasonal Affective Disorder.
