Your smartphone could be more like a fatphone.
A number of studies are revealing smartphone related weight gain due to several different factors. Of course we’re less mobile when we’re actually using our phones. That time spent not moving while texting, checking mail or browsing the apps can really add up over the course of a day. In addition, the light emitted from our phones can actually make us hungry and lead to mindless eating.
College and elementary school students were most at risk of the smartphone weight gain and should consider downloading an app that reminds them to get off the phone and get up and moving.
