Stop slicing your onions!

The next time you’re cooking with garlic or onions, don’t slice them – mince them. 

Garlic and onions contain allicin, which is a super-healthy compound that we should all have more of. Mincing garlic or onions releases a lot more allicin than chopping or slicing. After you mince them, let them sit there for about ten minutes to up your allicin even more.
