Looking for Mr. or Ms. Right? They could be standing right next to you, and there's an app for that.
It's sort of GPS dating. It's a new trend for busy singles who don't want to have to look too far, and it's all about location. This new crop of GPS driven dating apps will list people and a brief profile with a picture based on their proximity to where you are at any given moment. You could be attending the same concert, or dining in the same restaurant or on the same street. The profile will list their location in feet. The next step is up to you. You can let them know you're there with a text, or a wink tool, or glance around and approach them the old fashioned way.
Sound risky? That's what she said. Women are much more apprehensive about GPS dating, the ratio is about 60 percent male to 40 percent female. And of course you can always disable the location indicator if you're not in the mood.
