Job offers may be hard to come by, but even in this economy, there are some reasons you might want to consider NOT accepting the offer:
Financially shaky. Do your research. If the company is not on solid ground and at risk of going under, accepting a job there can eat up precious time, resources and energy.
Interview process. If it's really long, complicated or disorganized, that could be a good indicator of how the company operates in general. If it takes more than a few weeks for the employer to make a decision, it could be a sign they don't have their act together.
The salary. With a shortage of jobs out there, it's reasonable to take less than you want, but how low is too low? It's a good idea to have a walk-away number in your head, the absolute rock-bottom you can accept.
