If you're lined up for a job interview, Careerbuilder.com has a few questions that you really shouldn't ask:
What does your company do? You need to do some research and figure that out BEFORE the interview.
How much does the job pay? Of course you want to know, but asking about salary or benefits right off the bat can send the wrong message. Hopefully, the interviewer will bring up the subject, if not, wait until the next stage in the interview process.
What are the hours of this position? It's a big turnoff. Most potential bosses don't want a clock watcher.
Asking about vacation, sick days or time off is another bad idea. These questions can make you look more concerned with getting out of work than getting the job.
