Good Morning!

If you wake up on the wrong side of the bed more often than not, there are a few things that might just help turn things around:

Flowers. Try putting some on your bed side table. Studies have shown the scent of flowers helps you have happier dreams, and sets a more positive tone first thing in the morning.

Blue accents in your bedroom can help too. Blue is proven to trigger relaxing brain waves and a peaceful state of mind.

Stretch. Cats and dogs do it first thing, and so should we. It helps rev circulation and eases your muscles into action. Take a deep breath for an extra dose of oxygen for maximum effect.

Chances Are...

Did you know there is such a thing as a casino psychologist?  And we don't mean someone to help patrons keep a totential problem in check, just the opposite actually.

A casino psychologist, a specialist in the field of environmental psychology, is a valuable tool for casinos when designing their space. Some of the more obvious tactics are to create an environment that is timeless, using clocks and windows sparingly. Obviously, the space should look and feel good, but scent and sound are also critical elements. Alot of thought and design goes into every detail, right down to the mass humming of dinging slot machines, all meticulously set in the feel-good key of C major. That upbeat drone can actually have a trance-like effect on some people.

The color of choice for most casinos, a womb-like red. And that air your breathing may actually be laced with extra oxygen to keep you alert, stimulated, and ready to take chances.
